Town to provide letter of support for local local wildlife rehabilitator
Battleford council authorized the town to write a letter of support for a local wildlife rehabilitator.
Council heard during Monday’s meeting for about the last six years the local expert, Jim Krentz, a member of the Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Saskatchewan (WRSOS), has helped area wildlife that are injured or orphaned.
Larger animals are transported to Saskatoon for assistance.
Mayor Ames Leslie said after the meeting that Krentz is “doing what society needs, protecting some of the birds of our community that are injured or hurt.”
