North Stars re-up for seven in 7-4 home-opener vs. Klippers
Offensive confidence is at an all-time high in the Battlefords to start the new year.
Just 24 hours after opening their season with a 7-1 thrashing of the rival Kindersley Klippers Friday, the Stars repeated the offensive feat Saturday.
Lighting up another seven goals on the board for the second time in as many nights, the team clinched another victory in their home opener, this time taking a 7-4 final over the same Klippers’ club.
Six different North Stars scored on the night. Forward Austin Becker collected two goals on the evening, while teammates Seth Summers, Steven Kesslering, Quintin Loon-Stewardson, Ryland McNinch and Dace Prymak each chipped in additionally with a single tally each.
