Police find cash cache in North Battleford home

Police arrested a man for breaching his court conditions yesterday after a search of his home turned up $35,000 in cash.
Chris Vany of North Battleford was originally arrested after a search warrant was executed on his home Aug. 6.
He was charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and released from custody Aug. 29 on strict conditions imposed by the court.
Yesterday, RCMP officers following up on those conditions searched his home and located the cash.
