Co-accused in Mark Jonson homicide has matter adjourned for bail supervision report

One of two men accused in the death of Mark Douglas Jonson will be back in court at the end of August as he awaits a bail supervision report.

David Keller faces a charge of first-degree murder in Jonson’s death.

The 61-year-old was found dead at a home on 15 Ave. and 100 St. on July 5.

The 47-year-old was remanded and will appear in North Battleford Provincial Court via closed-circuit television from the Prince Albert Correctional Centre on Aug. 28.

Nicolas Buck is also charged in Jonson’s murder. The 22-year-old is facing 10 charges, including first-degree murder for the July 3 incident.

Buck was located the morning of July 13 after officers issued a warrant for his arrest. Investigators arrested Keller on the evening of July 11.

Buck is due back in court via CCTV on Aug. 29.
