One man has been charged and is wanted by police after an investigation into a 2018 hit and run south of Battleford.
On July 25, 2018, officers were called to a man laying on Hwy 4, about one kilometre south of Battleford. They found one man who had died after being run over by a vehicle that fled the scene and was not identified.
The year-long investigation has resulted in August Devin Nahbexie from the Saulteaux First Nation charged with failure to stop at the scene of an accident causing death, failing to comply with a probation order, failing to comply with an undertaking and obstruction.
RCMP said he is wanted on nine other unrelated charged.
