DQ hopes to raise over $10K for children’s hospital on Miracle Treat Day
A North Battleford Dairy Queen server carefully pours soft ice cream into a cup, deftly scoops up sweet delights such as Smarties or Oreo cookie chunks to go on top, and puts the entire recipe into the mixer to shake it up.
Another tasty Blizzard is ready for the next customer to enjoy to celebrate Miracle Treat Day on Aug. 8.
This marks the 17 year of DQ’s Miracle Treat Day event. All net proceeds raised from Blizzard sales and donations benefit the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation in Saskatoon, the only Saskatchewan member of the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
North Battleford Dairy Queen owner/operator Terry Burnett looks forward to this day all year.
