Driver arrested after vehicle roll-over near Battle River

More impaired driving charges were laid over the weekend as drivers continue to ignore warnings from police.

RCMP is continuing their investigation into a single vehicle roll-over on Highway 4 near Battle River on Sunday afternoon that sent two people to hospital.

One of the passengers transported sustained non-life threatening but serious injuries requiring further medical attention.  

The driver is being held in custody pending a court appearance on charges of Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle causing Bodily Harm, and Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle with a blood alcohol level over 0.08 mg% causing Bodily Harm.  

Meanwhile, a female faces impaired driving charges after RCMP received a complaint of a possible impaired driver entering North Battleford on Saturday morning. The vehicle was located and after a brief investigation the driver was charged.
