Despite the scorching sun shining down Friday afternoon, the city’s fire department made it rain in North Battleford to help residents cool down as the temperature broke 30 C.

The department hosted a pop-up spray park at Connaught School from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
They used a 100 foot aerial ladder to spray water out among the crowd. It was the first time the department has hosted the event.
