RCMP investigate after man shot in foot in Battleford

For the second time this week, officers are investigating after a home was fired at in Battleford.

RCMP said in a press release they were called to a home on the 300 block of 28 St. at around 12:30 a.m. and found a man in his early 20s in the front yard with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to his foot.

Paramedics took the man to hospital for treatment of the non-life threatening injuries.

Officers said no one else in the area was injured.

The investigation remains ongoing, however, the RCMP said everyone at the home is known to each other and charges are pending.
