15 to be inducted into Sask. Baseball Hall of Fame for 2018

Twelve individuals, one team, one community, and one family will be officially inducted into the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame (SBHOF) this summer on Aug. 18, 2018.

Cut Knife’s Bye Braun, Wilkie’s Lorne Nielsen and the Keller family from Wilkie are the three local inductees in this year’s class.

The lone inductee in the community category is Leader, Sask. and the lone inductee in the team category is the Carlyle Cardinals.

Other than Braun and Neilsen, the 10 other individuals that are being inducted in August are: Murray Eddy of Saskatoon, Gary Frank of Regina, James D. Golightly of Eatonia, the late Joseph E. Haberman of Regina, Harvey Johnson of Regina, Arnold Lund of Loon Lake, Jack Sell of Bowden, Alta., Shane Simpson of Regina, Randy Treautwein of Leader, and Neil Tulloch of Regina.
