Starting June 1, you’ll no longer be able to pay your SaskPower bill in person.

The company announced it will be closing their cash counters in North Battleford, Regina, Saskatoon, Yorkton.

The company says there will no job losses. The nine employees who currently work at these locations will begin serving customers over the phone and respond to questions through the company’s website.

Diana Avery, Vice-President of SaskPower Customer Service said most of their customers prefer to do their transactions electronically or over the phone which is a big change over the last 10 years.
