Charges laid following two vehicle crash near Britannia
A 49-year-old Prince Albert man has been charged following a two vehicle collision on Highway 3 and Highway 17 in the Regional Municipality of Britannia on Jan. 31.
Maidstone RCMP charged Alan Toutsaint with one count of driving without due care and attention and one count of failing to comply with endorsement of his driver’s licence, after the vehicle he was driving failed to make a proper stop heading Westbound and slammed into the southbound vehicle.
Constable Ryan Reid told battlefordsNow that RCMP and other emergency services were called to the accident around 3 p.m.
“Four individuals, two from each vehicle were taken to hospital by ambulance following the collision,” said Reid. “Luckily everyone was in stable condition.”
