Armed robber arrested in N.B.

A 24-year-old male from Saskatoon was arrested in the Battlefords following an armed robbery.

At roughly midnight on Feb. 8, police responded to a lone male who entered a business in the 100 block of 22 St. W. in Battleford armed and demanding money. After fleeing, the man was found at a nearby residence with the assistance of the Battlefords RCMP Police Dog Unit.

The same suspect was also found responsible for two other robberies in the Battlefords and a gas station in Saskatoon.

Dylan James Larose has been charged with three counts of robbery with a weapon, wearing a disguise with intent to commit an offence, failing to comply with a probation order and two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
