Cheer Legacy Athletics impresses at Warman Cheer Classic
In the first meeting of the cheerleading season with all seven Cheer Legacy Athletics’ teams, the North Battleford club took home three second-place finishes and three third-place finishes this past weekend at the Warman Cheer Classic.
It was the 11th year for the Warman competition, and this one saw over 250 performances.
The youth teams from CLA shone particularly bright in this competition, as the Nobles, which is a beginner group competing in Level 1, came second and had a flawless routine, which is also called ‘hitting zero.’ The Regals, also a beginner group in Level 1, also finished second and hit zero.
While ‘hitting zero’ indicates a perfect routine, it does not necessarily mean it is a winning routine, as routines often have a different degree of difficulty to them, which factors into the scoring.
