Rotary and Boys and Girls Club share a Christmas Meal
It wasn’t the average Christmas party for the Battlefords Rotary Club, but it’s one they probably won’t forget anytime soon.
Instead of a nice meal and cocktails, the club decided to have their staff party with the Boys and Girls Club and cook them a Christmas dinner on Dec. 19.
“We promised our members that it would be chaotic and fun,” said Warren Williams, president of the Battlefords Rotary Club. “There’s no shortage of places that can use food at anytime of the year.”
Williams said that the Boys and Girls Club has always been an organization close to the Rotary, and this is the start of becoming more involved and interactive with the club and kids.
