Several cabins broken into in Cochin
Battlefords RCMP have been kept busy lately with a string of break and enters, several of which were cabins in the Cochin area.
On Mar. 31, RCMP received word of three cabins being broken into at Delorme Beach in Cochin. They attended the Cochin area again the next morning after a report of another cabin being broken into. And on April 2, officers were called out once again after two other cabins were reported to have been broken into. A house in North Battleford was also broken into on April 1 on the 1000 block of 109 Street, and another house was broken into on the 400 block of 33 Street in Battleford.
In other RCMP news, on April 1, a man was arrested in North Battleford and was charged with uttering threats, forcible confinement and assault.
Over the weekend, several vehicles were also broken into, two vehicles were stolen, and a camper trailer was also broken into on the 1900 block of Foley Drive in North Battleford. Two youths and an adult were also reported as missing, but have since been found.
