Man accused of domestic assault facing charges

RCMP arrested a man after a domestic assault incident in North Battleford on Wednesday afternoon.

Police were called to a residence on 109th St. at roughly 4:30 p.m. Nov. 30 to a domestic assault in progress, according to a news release.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on scene and the victim was located uninjured.

The man remains in custody and faces assault and weapons charges.

Unrelated to the assault, police also located and arrested a 15-year-old who was wanted on several outstanding warrants, including being unlawfully at large, three charges of assault with a weapon, break and enter and other property offences. He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on Dec. 2.
