Moose shot and left to waste north of the Battlefords

A young bull moose was shot and left to waste on private farmland near Marlin, prompting an appeal for information from conservation officers.

Located in the RM of Parkdale, Marlin sits just 54 kilometres north of the Battlefords

North Battleford conservation officers received a report Sept. 26 and attended the scene beside Canyon Road to investigate. They believe the moose was shot that morning.
