Global Demand Fuels Saskatchewan Export Growth
Province Ranks Second Among the Provinces for Year-to-Date Export Growth
Statistics Canada figures show that Saskatchewan’s merchandise exports increased 11.6 per cent in the first six months of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025.
“This strong growth is a testament to the hard work of Saskatchewan producers, manufacturers and exporters,” Trade and Export Development Minister Warren Kaeding said. “Their success in international markets helps attract investment, create jobs and showcase our province as the reliable supplier the world depends on.”
From January to June 2026, the province’s international merchandise exports totaled $24.4 billion.
