Former Lloydminster Housing Authority manager charged with fraud, theft
A former manager of the Lloydminster Housing Authority has been charged following an RCMP investigation into alleged fraud and theft from the non-profit organization.
Lloydminster RCMP began investigating reports of financial irregularities involving a former employee in January 2026. Investigators said approximately $10,000 worth of fuel was obtained for personal use through the unauthorized use of organizational resources. They also allege about $6,000 worth of flooring materials was stolen from the organization.
As part of the investigation, RCMP, with assistance from the Saskatchewan Crime Reduction Team, executed a search warrant at a property in Marsden. Officers recovered 31 of the 52 boxes of flooring reported stolen.
Lori Neufeld, 49, of Marsden, has been charged with fraud over $5,000 and theft over $5,000.
