Updated: Two suspects wanted after armed robbery on Thunderchild First Nation

Police said three suspects arrived at the property in a car and truck, assaulted a resident and stole an ATV. The victim suffered minor injuries.

Officers later arrested a 25-year-old man on Thunderchild First Nation as part of the investigation.

Later that evening, around 5:50 p.m., officers with the Lloydminster Crime Reduction Team and Turtleford RCMP located a vehicle believed to be connected to the robbery near Thunderchild First Nation.

Police attempted a traffic stop, but the driver sped away, leading officers on a pursuit. The vehicle eventually went off the road and rolled on Highway 794 near the Highway 4 intersection, about 30 kilometres north of North Battleford.

Four people inside the vehicle, one man and three women, were arrested without incident. One occupant was taken to hospital as a precaution before being released back into police custody.

RCMP said officers found several knives, a sword, cocaine and methamphetamine inside the vehicle. Police also located keys tied to a vehicle previously reported stolen.

Investigators later determined the four people arrested after the rollover were not involved in the original armed robbery.

Twenty-two-year-old Kade Schacher is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, flight from police, dangerous driving and possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000.

Meanwhile, Charlene Wright, Tanis Nicotine and Sommer Thunderchild each face two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

All four are scheduled to appear in court in St. Walburg on June 2.

As the investigation continues, RCMP charged 25-year-old Rocky Wuttunee with robbery with a firearm. He is scheduled to appear in court in Lloydminster on June 2.

Police are still searching for two additional suspects believed to be involved in the robbery.

Warrants have been issued for 22-year-old Dimetre Paskimin and 29-year-old Phoenix Standingwater.

Paskimin is additionally charged with using an imitation firearm during the commission of an offence and assault with a weapon.

RCMP said anyone who sees either suspect should not approach them and should instead contact Turtleford RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
