Yorkton Terriers tie the series with a 7-2 win over the North Stars
The Sask. Junior Hockey League (SJHL) semifinals between the Battlefords North Stars is guaranteed to go at least six games after the Terriers tied the series at 2-2 with a dominant 7-2 win.
Yorkton got on the board first when Vinay Junek brought the puck towards the net from the corner, scoring on the backhand to put the Terriers up 1-0 on the power play at the 6:10 mark of the first period.
Later at 15:15, Jye Zawatsky scored his third goal in the series from the slot to double the lead and send Yorkton into the second period up 2-0.
