Prince Albert’s Stumpf named semi-finalist in Sirius XM’s Top of Country competition
Representing the only semi-finalist from Saskatchewan, Prince Albert’s Josh Stumpf is one step closer to being named Sirius XM’s Top of the Country Winner and receiving a $25,000 grand prize.
The final group was announced on Monday and voting for the next round began on Tuesday.
“This is so cool that what I’ve been doing is having enough of an impact that people thought I was worthy enough of an artist to be a part of it,” he said.
A 2024 Saskatchewan Country Music Award Emerging Artist of the Year, Stumpf broke through with Drink Me a Lullaby before signing with MDM Recordings Inc. His debut label single, Highway Money, peaked in the top 10 at Canadian country radio, earning over 3.4 million streams, and his latest single Nobody Roads continues his momentum.
