Man charged after firearm, ammunition seized at North Battleford business
Saskatchewan RCMP have charged a man after a firearm and ammunition were seized at a business in North Battleford.
On Feb 12, Saskatchewan RCMP’s North Battleford Crime Reduction Team-Gang Task Force and Critical Incident Response Team executed a search warrant at a business on Highway #16 bypass as part of an ongoing investigation.
During the search, an unsafely stored firearm and ammunition were located by officers. Six people were arrested at the scene.
As a result of the investigation, 50-year-old Trebor Swindler from North Battleford has been charged with one count, unlawful possession of a non-restricted firearm and one count, careless storage of a firearm.
