Cheese-throwing incident ends in minor crash, ticket in Lloydminster

A late-night encounter in Lloydminster took a cheesy turn last week after a food fight escalated into a minor crash.
Lloydminster RCMP said officers were called around 10:55 p.m. on Jan. 24 after receiving a report of a motor vehicle collision that began when a driver allegedly started throwing cheese at another vehicle in a parking lot.
The initial complaint indicated one car pulled up beside a second vehicle and began tossing cheese at it. The situation curdled moments later when the same vehicle backed up and struck another car, before parking farther away from the scene.
When officers arrived, they examined the damage and determined it was minor. Police then issued a ticket to the driver responsible for throwing the cheese and backing into the other vehicle.
