Raylene Sewap arrested in North Battleford

A woman wanted by RCMP for allegedly assaulting a man and robbing him has been arrested.

Battlefords RCMP arrested Raylene Sewap, age 29, in North Battleford on New Year’s Day.

Sewap made her first court appearance Friday morning in North Battleford Provincial Court.

She was wanted in connection to a robbery on Dec. 14 outside of a business on Highway 4 near Cochin.

The victim of the robbery was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
