Unlicensed security operation linked to drug, weapons charges in Lloydminster
Saskatchewan RCMP say two Edmonton men are facing several charges after officers seized cocaine, firearms and other weapons during an investigation in Lloydminster.
Police said a search warrant was executed Dec. 15 at a business and apartment in the city as part of an ongoing investigation.
Officers found about 20 grams of cocaine, cash, three firearms, ammunition, a conducted energy weapon, a baton and identification that did not belong to the occupants.
Two men were later arrested in Kitscoty, Alta., and police allege the individuals had been providing unlicensed security services under the names Tribal Land Division Incorporated and Tribal Land Enforcement Division.
