Dec 14, 2025 | 8:35 PM

Battlefords RCMP say they located a person involved in a vehicle-pedestrian collision reported Saturday in Battleford and confirmed the individual suffered “non-life-threatening injuries.”

Police said Sunday the victim was found in an unrelated vehicle following continued investigation.

RCMP also located the dark-coloured truck believed to be involved at a residence on Mosquito, Grizzly Bear’s Head, Lean Man First Nation. The vehicle was unoccupied.

Investigators have identified the individual who was seen near the scene at the time of the incident.

Officers were called shortly after 4 p.m. Saturday to a report of a pedestrian being struck by a truck on 22nd Street in the town.

Police said initial investigation determined the individual was standing near a truck, which they are believed to be associated with, when the vehicle struck them. The individual then entered the same truck, which left the area in an unknown direction.

The truck was described as dark in colour, with mismatched rims on the driver’s side, a black front rim and a silver rear rim.

Battlefords RCMP and Saskatchewan RCMP’s North Battleford Provincial General Investigation Section continue to investigate.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Battlefords RCMP at 310-RCMP or submit tips anonymously through Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
