OHL roundup: Spitfires continue scorching start with 4-1 win over Greyhounds
SAULT STE. MARIE — Anthony Cristoforo scored twice, Ethan Belchetz had a goal and two assists, and the visiting Windsor Spitfires defeated the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds 4-1 in Ontario Hockey League action on Saturday.
Carter Hicks also scored for the surging Spitfires (9-1-0-0), who led 2-1 after the first period and 4-1 heading into the third. Carson Woodall chipped in with two assists.
Carson Andrew scored for the Greyhounds (6-4-0-0), who were outshot 29-17.
Spitfires netminder Joey Costanzo stopped 16 of 17 shots, while Noah Tegelaar stopped 25 of 29 shots for the Greyhounds.
