Riders focused only on next opponent, not 10-2 record
The Saskatchewan Roughriders are 10-2 and at the top of the CFL standings — but there’s no celebrating in the locker room.
For the CFL club, their current record reads 0-0 heading into another game.
“If I would tell you on our goal sheet was to win 10 games, I would be lying to you,” quarterback Trevor Harris said. “It’s great we are where we are right now, but that only means we have given ourselves the right to be 10-2 right now and be in a position where we have this small lead in the west but we know that what we have done up to this point doesn’t matter.
“What it comes down to is how we approach the rest of the season. If we don’t come at it with a killer instinct, then we will really regret it. We’re just 0-0 and looking to come away with a win this week.”
