Loaded guns, illegal drugs seized in RCMP drug bust in Martensville, North Battleford
Two men are facing dozens of charges following Saskatchewan RCMP investigations into drug trafficking in Martensville and North Battleford that led to the seizure of firearms, drugs, and cash.
On July 30, RCMP executed search warrants at three locations: a home on Heibert Crescent in Martensville, and a business near Highway 16 and Poundmaker Trail as well as a home on St. Laurent Drive, both in North Battleford.
Mounties said they seized four illegal firearms, three of them loaded, along with two replica firearms, 246 grams of suspected MDMA, 55 grams of cocaine, 36 grams of psilocybin and additional evidence of drug trafficking.
One man was arrested at the Martensville house, while another was taken into custody in a vehicle in North Battleford, where police said they seized a loaded semi-automatic rifle, a loaded sawed-off rifle, cocaine and cash.
