No mail for Prince Albert on Friday, yellow alert issued for North Battleford

Mar 28, 2025 | 12:41 PM

Bad weather has led Canada Post to issue red alerts for three communities in Saskatchewan, including Prince Albert.

A red service alert means that delivery has been suspended for the day. No mail collection will happen either.

The alert was issued Friday morning and includes Lloydminster and Weyburn.

A yellow alert, meaning pickup and deliver will be attempted but is not guaranteed, was issued for North Battleford and Saskatoon at the same time.

Service alerts are posted to the Delivery service alerts webpage, which lists all active and archived alerts and updates.

The service alerts can also be found on our social media platforms.

At the same time, customers are encouraged to clear walkways, stairs and driveways to help make the deliveries that are happening more smooth when service resumes.

If customers have questions regarding mail delivery, they can contact Canada Post’s Customer Service team online at canadapost.ca/support or by telephone at 1-866-607-6301 (TTY: 1-800-267-2797).
