Woman arrested after drugs, cash seized in Meadow Lake traffic stop
A woman was arrested after RCMP seized drugs, cash, and an imitation firearm during a traffic stop on February 26.
Officers with the Meadow Lake Crime Reduction Team stopped a vehicle around 10 p.m. on the 100 block of 9th Street West and determined the driver’s license was suspended.
A search of the vehicle uncovered 27 grams of methamphetamine, 15 grams of cocaine, $675 in cash, and unstamped tobacco.
After further investigation, a 27-year-old woman from Meadow Lake, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine and cocaine, possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000, and possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose.
