Two men charged

RCMP charge two men after shooting at Waterhen Lake First Nation

Meadow Lake RCMP have placed charges on two 42-year-old men following a shooting that took place on Saturday at Waterhen First Nation.

RCMP were first called out to Waterhen Lake First Nation on February 8 around 6:15 p.m. with reports of a shooting and an injured male. The injured man was taken to hospital, but no updates on his condition have been provided.

After continued investigation from RCMP, Saskatchewan RCMP’s General Investigation Section and Forensic Identification Services, two men were arrested without incident on February 8.

Logan Lapratt, 42-years-old from Waterhen Lake First Nation, has been charged with one count of attempted murder, one count of aggravated assault, and one count of discharge of a firearm with intent.
