
RCMP make arrests in Wednesday’s armed robbery
Three men have been arrested following an armed robbery Wednesday night in North Battleford.
According to RCMP, the incident happened on the 1300 block of 101st Street when the men threatened another man with a weapon and attempted to rob him.
During the investigation, a machete was seized and while Gang Task Force caught two of the suspects, the third fled but was later captured by police dog services.
As a result, a 29-year-old man and a 38-year-old man are each facing charges of robbery and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, while the 27-year-old man is also facing an additional charge of resisting arrest.
