Prairieland Hosts The Ultimate Grain Industry Gathering for Leaders in the Field

The 42nd annual Western Canadian Crop Production Show presented by Farm Credit Canada will take place January 14-16, 2025 at the World Trade Center Saskatoon at Prairieland.

The premiere grain-industry event will bring together hundreds of esteemed exhibitors under one roof during the off-season.

This exceptional opportunity allows industry professionals to network and delve into the latest advancements in crop science, cutting-edge technology, and innovative solutions. Patrons will experience the newest products and services tailored to meet the demands and preferences of prairie farmers as they prepare for the upcoming growing season.

Guests will benefit from free and abundant parking at Prairieland, coupled with a variety of on-site food and beverage options located steps away. The 2025 event once again welcomes Nufarm as its Information Theatre sponsor, and will feature Nufarm’s Technical Services Manager, Tyler Gullen, promoting their new technology and its efficiency for managing tough weeds.

Other speakers focus on topics such as spray drones, spot sprayers, tax and succession planning, updates on the Westside Irrigation Rehabilitation Project, and more.

The 2nd annual Innovation Award finalists will discuss their innovations at the Nufarm Information Theatre on Tuesday, January 14 at 12:30 pm.

The winner will be announced at the Barley Bash exhibitor mixer later that evening. Additionally, the Saskatchewan Agricultural Hall of Fame will be announcing the names of the individuals who will be inducted in 2025. A more formal induction ceremony will take place at Prairieland on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

A new and enlightening seminar called “The Business of Farming” is scheduled for Thursday, January 16, promising expert insights and practical advice that can help transform farming operations.

Attendees of the seminar will not only gain invaluable knowledge from RealAgristudies about farm diversification, but will also enjoy a complimentary lunch and admission to the Western Canadian Crop Production Show on Thursday, January 16.
