Collision on Highway 17 claims life of 24-year-old man from Lloydminster

A 24-year-old man from Lloydminster died in a collision on Dec.24 on Highway 17 ,approximately five kilometers north of Lloydminster.
The tragic crash involved a pick-up truck and a semi-truck. That morning, Maidstone RCMP responded to the scene, where paramedics declared the driver of the pick-up truck deceased, and his family had been notified of the loss.
Police said the driver of the semi-truck was unharmed.
Furthermore, the highway was closed for an investigation, and both Maidstone RCMP and Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionists are actively looking into the cause of the incident.
