Shooting in Saulteaux leaves man with serious injuries; investigation underway

An investigation is currently underway by the Battlefords RCMP following reports of a shooting and armed robbery on Saulteaux First Nation last Friday.

A man was parked at the side of a grid road when a group of people drove up, fired shots and stole his vehicle. He was later taken to hospital with serious injuries and his vehicle retrieved.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 310-RCMP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
