Teen accused of breaking into cannabis store and stealing over $15K worth of merchandise
A teenage boy in Lloydminster is alleged responsible for a break-in at a cannabis store and the theft of more than $15,000 worth of merchandise.
Early Tuesday morning, RCMP responded to an alarm at the south-side business, finding it had been broken into and items stolen.
Later that day, police executed a search warrant at a house in the 1800 block of 49th Avenue. The teen was arrested and the stolen goods were recovered.
He has been charged with break-and-entry, possession of stolen property over $5,000, three counts of failing to comply with release orders, and five counts of failing to comply with probation orders.
