SaskEnergy remind people to clear vents of snow and ice

SaskEnergy is reminding people to check their outside vents and make sure they’re clear of any snow or ice.

As Saskatchewan sets into a deepfreeze, the company is warming about the hazards of blocked intake valves and chimneys as it can lead to a carbon monoxide buildup.

Here are some tips to make sure you stay safe and warm this winter.

Along with checking outside vents, be sure to inspect your heating appliances and install carbon monoxide detectors.
