Sproull guilty on all 11 child porn charges

Amid emotional gasps from the gallery and while looking at the accused in the prisoner’s box at the Court of King’s Bench in Battleford, Justice Grant Currie announced his verdict in the child pornography case.
Joseph Sproull was found guilty of all 11 charges including possession of child pornography, distribution of child pornography, sexual assault, sexual interference, and making available child pornography.
As the now-convicted pedophile heard the verdict, he quietly sat back in his seat and hung his head as the next stage of the process played out. Defense Lawyer Brian Pfefferle said that with this verdict comes mandatory minimum sentences and in agreement with Crown Prosecutor Andrew Clements, asked that the court postpone the sentencing.
“We do know that there’s a number of people and interested parties on both sides of the matter,” he said.
