POSTAL STRIKE

North Battleford residents reminded to pay utility bills

Nov 26, 2024 | 6:18 PM

Due to the ongoing postal strike, utility bills are not getting delivered to mailboxes. However, the City of North Battleford is reminding residents that they are still required to pay their bills.

The City’s Finance Department will continue to email utility bills to customers who sign up for e-billing. E-billing services are free, and sign-up is required online.

Residents can also opt for free text reminders about outstanding balances and payment deadlines to avoid service disconnections. Penalties for late payments still apply.

Utility customers can easily verify the amount owed on their current bill by calling or visiting City Hall during regular business hours.

Payments can be made in person at City Hall using cash, cheque, debit card, or money order. Customers can also pay online with a credit card. If anyone wishes to use cheques, they should be made payable to the City of North Battleford.

Vendors should send invoices electronically to accountspayable@cityofnb.ca. Anyone with questions or concerns may contact the City by email at info@cityofnb.ca or by calling 306-445-1700.
