Operation Red Nose Launched for 2024
It is with enthusiasm that the 16th annual Operation Red Nose road safetycampaign was launched yesterday, in Saskatoon. True to its mission of safety and solidarity, this free volunteer service has enabled millions of people to get home safe during the holiday season over the past few decades. From November 29th to December 31st, the host organizations in Prince Albert, Saskatoon, and The Battlefords, will be offering their safe ride service, once again reinforcing the community spirit that characterizes this landmark initiative. In Canada, nearly 70 local host organizations will deploy the annual campaign in 7 provinces.
The Power of Volunteering“As Operation Red Nose begins its 41st annual campaign in the country, the importance of our mission remains clear. And without the unwavering commitment of our volunteers, the true pillars of our organization, that mission could not be fulfilled. Together, we play a crucial role in improving road safety, year after year, by providing a safe ride service that saves lives and raises awareness on the dangers of impaired driving” says Jean-Marie De Koninck, Founding President of Operation Red Nose.
About Operation Red Nose Operation Red Nose is a non-profit organization with a mission to encourage responsible behaviour to prevent impaired driving. The organization also supports local youth and amateur sports projects with 100% of the funds raised through the safe ride service being kept in the host communities.
