Man arrested on outstanding warrant

A man facing multiple charges for drug possession, possession of a weapon was arrested Thursday on an outstanding warrant.

The 49-year-old was discovered in a home on Poundmaker Cree Nation following an ongoing trafficking investigation by the Cut Knife RCMP, in which he was found with roughly 250 grams of cocaine, trafficking paraphernalia, ammunition and weapons in the home.

He was also charged with one count fail to comply with a release order condition.

He is scheduled to appear North Battleford Provincial Court Friday.
