Five arrested in Lloydminster for outstanding warrants

Five people have been arrested with outstanding warrants in Lloydminster.

On November 5, Saskatoon RCMP’s Warrant Enforcement and Response Team (WEST), Lloydminster RCMP’s General Investigation Section (GIS) and Crime Reduction Unit (CRU), found and arrested a 23-year-old Lloydminster woman.

She had an outstanding warrant from Maidstone for a weapons possession charge and breaching her conditional sentence and now has a new charges of possession of fentanyl.

Found with the 23-year-old was a 31-year-old woman from Edmonton who was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Onion Lake RCMP for assault with weapon. In addition, she was on a Canada-wide warrant from Correctional Service Canada for being unlawfully at large.

A 29-year-old male from Lloydminster also had an outstanding warrant from Maidstone for possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.

Meanwhile, the following day, a 40-year-old man from Onion Lake Cree Nation, SK, was discovered at a home on Thunderchild First Nation, and was arrested for outstanding warrants in Onion Lake and Turtleford for charges that include assault with a weapon, assault, uttering threats and five counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

On November. 7, Saskatoon WEST arrested a 23-year-old male from Onion Lake Cree Nation, was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant from Correctional Service Canada for being unlawfully at large.
