Two men and a woman from North Battleford have been arrested and charged following an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

Members of Saskatchewan RCMP’s North Battleford Crime Reduction Team – Gang Task Force (CRT-GTF) executed a search warrant at two homes, one on 109 St. and the other on 110 St., on Oct. 22 around 9:15 p.m.

Officers located and seized a loaded handgun, a rifle, approximately 81 grams of methamphetamine, about 58 grams of crack cocaine, ammunition, a sum of cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia.

As a result of investigation, 21-year-old Enricko Thompson and 29-year old Justin Fraser each face several charges including possession of a restricted firearm/prohibited weapon with ammunition without a license or registration, possession of property obtained by crime less than $5,000 and possession for the purpose of trafficking, among other charges.

Chloe Bates, 20, was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Battlefords RCMP for charges including failure to comply with probation order and failure to appear in court.

Thompson and Fraser made their first court appearance in provincial court on Thursday.
