Battleford woman charged after meth trafficking bust

A woman from Battleford was arrested after police seized methamphetamine at a house last Wednesday, following reports of drug trafficking.

While members of the North Battleford RCMP Crime Reduction Team-Gang Task Force conducted the search warrant, they found a replica gun, 234 grams of methamphetamine and drug trafficking paraphernalia at 34th Street West.

After further investigation, a 68-year-old woman was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

She is scheduled for court in North Battleford Provincial Court on Nov. 18.
