Riders Give Fans a Taste of What Kind of Team They Were Hoping to Be

Last week I went to a couple of Rider practices to watch the team coming off the bye and to check out running back Ryquel Armstead who was cut from the Ottawa Redblacks because management felt he was divisive.
I watched Armstead and the difference between him, and Frankie Hickson is Armstead is more physical and hit the holes faster. Hickson is more of a dancer but when you are doing nothing but dance steps, it is hard to rack up the yardage.
With AJ Ouellette on the six game, the Riders need a running back who can command attention and provide some much-needed diversification in the offense. With the weather turning cooler, a proficient running game is essential, especially in the west, if you hope to advance to the playoffs and in the playoffs to the Grey Cup.
