Oversized cargo causes a jam in North Battleford

UPDATE: Traffic was back to normal at around 12:30 p.m. Thursday.

An oversized load is creating a bit of a traffic jam in the Battlefords.

The traffic is backed up on HWY 40 going west to HYW 4 near the Esso intersection opposite the Tim Hortons in Battleford due to the moving of a house to a new location in North Battleford.

It is unclear how long the traffic will be impacted but so far drivers have been stuck for the last 30 minutes.
