Man facing multiple weapons charges after woman was shot Saturday morning
A man is facing multiple charges after a woman was shot in the early morning hours of Saturday.
The incident happened on 108th Street in North Battleford and the woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to police, the man – a resident of Saskatoon was arrested with the help of police dogs and has been charged with the following:
one count – assault with weapon, one count, reckless discharge of a firearm, one count, possession of a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence, one count – possession of a prohibited weapon knowingly without a license, one count, possession of a loaded prohibited firearm without a license, one count, possession of a firearm while prohibited, one count – resist arrest, one count, fail to comply with release order condition, and one count, fail to comply with probation order.
